Ginger Owlseye is the placeholder name for a female human who is a background character in the My Little Pony Equestria Girls. She is a student at Crystal Prep Academy, although she is sometimes portrayed as a student of Canterlot High School.

In Friendship Games, Ginger Owlseye first appears walking in the Crystal Prep Academy hallway, bumping into Twilight Sparkle. During What More Is Out There?, she appears inside a classroom and later appears glaring at Twilight with Cold Forecast in the school foyer. She later appears standing with Garden Grove near the bus after arriving with the other CPA students to Canterlot High School. During the Crystal Prep welcome party, she appears standing with Garden Grove and later appears dancing when music starts playing. She later appears as a spectator during the first two events of the Friendship Games.

In Pinkie Spy, Ginger Owlseye appears training with the other members of the Crystal Prep track team and noticing Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie when they accidentally blow their cover while spying on them.

In Shake Things Up!, Ginger Owlseye appears walking in the Canterlot Mall food court with Alizarin Bubblegum and is later attracted to Applejack's juice bar where she is served a drink.

In A Fine Line, she waits in line to the video game store with Frosty Orange at the Canterlot Mall. In Overpowered, she briefly appears walking in the Canterlot High foyer looking at her phone. In Display of Affection, she appears in the crowd looking at Flanksy's window displays in the Carousel Boutique. In Super Squad Goals, she appears in Sunset Shimmer's comic book looking at her phone near the entrance of the Canterlot Natural History Museum. In the Rainbow Dash ending of Fluttershy's Butterflies, she represents CPA in a soccer game against CHS. In Opening Night and Happily Ever After Party, she appears in the audience for the CHS fall play.

In Forgotten Friendship, Ginger Owlseye makes a background appearance standing outside the Canterlot High School entrance with Frosty Orange and Sweetie Drops during We've Come So Far.
Equestria Girls: Rollercoaster of Friendship[]
In Rollercoaster of Friendship, Ginger Owlseye first appears walking outside the Canterlot Mall with Alizarin Bubblegum. She later appears as a patron of Equestria Land, running with Alizarin Bubblegum and Megan to take a picture with Vignette Valencia, in the audience for the park light parade, and taking pictures of Rarity at a fashion show at the park during Photo Booth.

In Run to Break Free, Ginger Owlseye makes a background appearance standing on a sidewalk with Fleur de Lis. In Five Lines You Need to Stand In, she appears in the security line of the Starswirled Music Festival with Fleur de Lis and later appears in a line to a food truck. In Cheer You On, she appears in the audience for Flash Drive as they perform the titular song in the CHS gym. In the Snips ending of Accountibilibuddies, she appears in the audience for Dirk Thistleweed's concert at the Starswirled Music Festival. In the Rarity and Trixie endings of Sock It to Me, she plays in a soccer game against CHS. In Tip Toppings, she appears as a patron of a frozen yogurt store. During the Fluttershy ending, she walks out of the building with the other patrons when animals stampede inside.
Equestria Girls: Sunset's Backstage Pass[]
In Sunset's Backstage Pass, Ginger Owlseye makes several background appearances as an attendee of the Starswirled Music Festival. During the first day of the festival, she appears attending PostCrush's concert. In later time loops, she she also appears in PostCrush's concert in the second and twenty-first loop and also appears near the stage after the Dazzlings performance during the twentieth loop.
Equestria Girls: Holidays Unwrapped[]
In "Winter Break-In", Ginger Owlseye makes a brief cameo in the background at the Canterlot Mall with Frosty Orange and Fleur de Lis. In "Dashing Through the Mall", she briefly appears at the mall talking to Frosty Orange and later seen waiting in a line to the video game store.
