"Big" Jim Miller is a storyboard artist/supervisor and co-director for My Little Pony Equestria Girls and it's original series, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. He is credited as a storyboard artist and revisionist for season one for Friendship is Magic, storyboard supervisor for seasons two and three and My Little Pony Equestria Girls, series co-director for season four and the first two episodes of season five. Miller is also the series director for the following 12 episodes of season five. Beginning with a season five episode, Canterlot Boutique, he takes over Jayson Thiessen's role as supervising director. He has also provided the voices of several characters.
Miller was first brought onto the show staff about halfway through season one as a storyboard artist. Due to his experience prior to working on My Little Pony, he was promoted to supervisor for season two onward.
For season four onward, Miller was promoted to series co-director alongside supervising director Jayson Thiessen, taking over for previous director/co-director James "Wootie" Wootton.
Miller's professional credits include being a storyboard artist/director for Cartoon Network's Ed, Edd n Eddy, a storyboard artist for DHX Media's Kid vs. Kat and Packages from Planet X, and a freelance board artist for Capcom Game Studio Vancouver.
