Other than toys, Hasbro produces and licenses an assortment of Equestria Girls branded products. Most products was released with the original series, Friendship is Magic.

Apparel

The fashion chain Hot Topic had sell EG-branded shirts.

WeLoveFine

Online store WeLoveFine.com started selling licensed shirts and accessories, including My Little Pony Equestria Girls. Many of these designs are made by fans and licensed by Hasbro.

Print

Collector cards

For the pictures of the collector cards, see Merchandise/Gallery#Collector cards.

Collector cards accompany each of the dolls as a profile card. The names for the cards also called either Club Card or Backstage Pass depending on the doll lines.

Comic books

IDW Publishing are publishing Hasbro-licensed full-color comic book series titled My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, My Little Pony Micro-Series, My Little Pony: Friends Forever, and My Little Pony Animated with editor Bobby Curnow and a host of artists. So far, there're three comic books features the Equestria Girls characters: My Little Pony Annual 2013, My Little Pony Annual 2014, and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls Holiday Special.

Other than the comic book series, several short comic strips appear in different magazines.

Signature

A My Little Pony Equestria Girls magazine by Signature Publishing is being sold in some European countries. These countries include the United Kingdom and Croatia. In the magazine there is a 8 paged story, posters, general info on the ponies, a cooking recipe, activities, and a free gift with each issue.

UK

Numerous of magazine issues shows comic stories that are based on the animated shorts either from Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games.

Many posters were released for the Equestria Girls movies. Only My Little Pony Equestria Girls and My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks have two different posters.

Storybooks

Many Equestria Girls storybooks have been licensed or published by Hasbro. Some are bundled in printed form with toys, while others are sold individually in print or as e-books for the Amazon Kindle, the Barnes & Noble Nook, Google Play, or iOS. Several of the books recount the plots from the movies, like Rainbow Rocks. Other books are either the book adaption of either the movies and/or animated shorts or an original story that add narrative that fits into the series, like Sunset Shimmer's Time to Shine.

Equestria Girls chapter books are published by Little, Brown and Company in print and e-book formats. Each is a book adaption of the films and animated shorts or an original story that ties in to the series.

On September 10, 2014 and September 24, 2014, two albums featuring songs from both the first two Equestria Girls films were released: My Little Pony Equestria Girls - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.

Numerous of CDs were released at Walmart containing selected songs from the films or the Friendship is Magic series.

On September 18, 2015, an album featuring songs from the third movie called My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Friendship Games - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.

The Equestria Girls franchise extends to several Flash, iOS, and Android video games and software, including video games like the My Little Pony Equestria Girls game for iOS and Android.
