Rebecca Shoichet is a voice actress and singer for both series, My Little Pony Equestria Girls and Friendship is Magic. Her most prominent roles in the series are as the singing voice of both human and Equestrian versions of Twilight Sparkle, and as Sunset Shimmer.
Shoichet's professional voice credits include Mayura Labatt in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Sota Higurashi in InuYasha (replacing Saffron Henderson), Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk in Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes, Sedusa in Powerpuff Girls Z, Queen Lorelei in Barbie: The Pearl Princess, Spella in Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch, Apple Dumplin in Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures, and various supporting characters in Kid vs. Kat.
In live-action, Shoichet had a guest role in two episodes of The CW's television series Arrow. She has also performed music with Vancouver-based bands Soulstream, Side One, and Mimosa.
On My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Friendship Games - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, Shoichet's name is misspelled as "Rebecca Shiochet".
