Tennis Match

Tennis Match is the placeholder name for a female human who is a background character in the My Little Pony Equestria Girls franchise. She is an athlete student at Canterlot High School.

Tennis Match often appears with fellow athlete students Heath Burns and Cloudy Kicks.

My Little Pony Equestria Girls[]

In Equestria Girls, Tennis Match first appears among the crowd of students filling the Canterlot High School foyer walking with Heath Burns, standing in the hallway with Cloudy Kicks, and appears with the former walking in front of the school in Fluttershy's flashback. She later appears sitting with the other athletes in the cafeteria during lunch. The following day, she makes more appearances with Heath Burns walking towards the school and the Sweet Shoppe and also appears in the cafeteria with the other athletes during the Cafeteria Song where she later dances with DJ Pon-3. She next appears walking in the hallway wearing Wondercolt ears with Scott Green. During Time to Come Together, she helps clean up the gym for the Fall Formal. She later attends the Fall Formal where she and the other students are hypnotized by Sunset Shimmer into becoming her persona army to invade Equestria. After Twilight Sparkle and her new friends defeat Sunset Shimmer and free her and the other students from their hypnosis, she resumes dancing at the Formal.

Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks[]

In Rainbow Rocks, Tennis Match appears sitting with the other athletes in the CHS cafeteria during Battle. She later makes a background appearance walking by the Sweet Shoppe with Heath Burns. She also appears attending the party for the CHS Musical Showcase participants, and also appears as a spectator for the Battle of the Bands with Cloudy Kicks. During the finals of the Battle of the Bands, she and the other audience members are freed from the Dazzlings' hypnosis by the Rainbooms.

Rainbow Rocks animated shorts[]

In Pinkie on the One, Tennis Match makes a background appearance sitting with other athletes in the CHS cafeteria. In Player Piano, she appears walking towards the school with Heath Burns and later appears among the crowd of students standing in the school hallway as Rarity and the Diamond Dogs plow through a piano. In Shake Your Tail!, she attends the Rainbooms' concert in the gym. In Perfect Day for Fun, she makes several background appearances attending the CHS carnival. In the encore short Life is a Runway, she appears standing on the street with Indigo Wreath watching Rarity and her silouhette later appears in the audience for the fashion show sequence.

Equestria Girls: Friendship Games[]

In Friendship Games, Tennis Match first appears reading in the CHS library, attending the CHS pep rally, and attending the Crystal Prep Academy welcome party. She later appears listening to the Friendship Games announcement in the CHS hallway, and appears as a spectator for all three events. During the second event, she dances with Rose Heart when CHS wins the second part of the Tri-Cross relay. During the final event, Applejack saves her from falling into a rift to Equestria created by Midnight Sparkle, who later supports her with Sugarcoat. During the film credits, she appears in a photograph taken at the CHS rally.

Friendship Games animated shorts[]

In All's Fair in Love & Friendship Games, Tennis Match appears talking to Blueberry Cake in front of the school as Sandalwood tells his fellow students about the tryouts for the Friendship Games.

Equestria Girls: Dance Magic[]

In Dance Magic, Tennis Match makes a background appearance riding down an escalator at the Canterlot Mall.

Equestria Girls: Mirror Magic[]

In Mirror Magic, Tennis Match appears talking to Cloudy Kicks at the Canterlot Mall movie theatre, appears walking outside CHS with an awkward look as Sunset Shimmer waves at her with Starlight Glimmer, and running away from a transformed Juniper Montage at the Canterlot Mall.

Equestria Girls: Summertime Shorts[]

In A Photo Booth Story, Tennis Match appears talking to Aqua Blossom at the CHS Fall Formal, and later appears dancing with Rose Heart. In Raise This Roof, she appears dancing at the Formal and watching and cheering during the dance-off. In Good Vibes, she makes a cameo appearance walking outside a sushi restaurant at the Canterlot Mall.

Equestria Girls: Digital Series (season 1)[]

In Queen of Clubs, Tennis Match appears as a member of the CHS cheerleading squad. In Overpowered, she makes a background appearance leaning on a locker and looking at her phone in the CHS hallway. In the Rainbow Dash ending of Fluttershy's Butterflies, Tennis Match appears as a member of the Canterlot High girls' soccer team during a game against Crystal Prep and later appears cheering for Fluttershy during her audition for the school play.

Equestria Girls: Forgotten Friendship[]

In Forgotten Friendship, Tennis Match appears in Applejack's partially-erased memories of the final event of the Friendship Games.

Equestria Girls: Rollercoaster of Friendship[]

In Rollercoaster of Friendship, Tennis Match makes several background appearances as a patron of Equestria Land, standing near the roller coaster with Sophisticata, standing and walking by a caramel apple stand, standing with Sophisticata and Curly Winds near the parade preparation area, in security video footage by the roller coaster, and in the audience for the light parade.

Equestria Girls: Digital Series (season 2)[]

In Schedule Swap, Tennis Match makes a background appearance walking in the CHS parking lot with Heath Burns. In Cheer You On, she makes a background appearance jogging on the CHS soccer field with other members of the girls' soccer team. In all three endings of Sock It to Me, she appears as one of Rainbow Dash's teammates in a girls' soccer game against CPA.
